Black Hills Corporation Awards SkyBridge PeopleSoft Implementation Project
Atlanta, GA-April 8th, 2009 – SkyBridge Global is pleased to announce it has been selected by Black Hills Corp., a diversified energy company based in Rapid City, S.D., for their implementation effort of PeopleSoft 9.0. SkyBridge will provide project resources and expertise to support the companywide rollout of PeopleSoft version 9.0, including financials and supply chain and human capital management modules.
Black Hills Corp. acquired electric and gas utility divisions from Aquila, Inc. in several states. Aquila, Inc. operated on an earlier version of PeopleSoft for their financials, supply chain and human capital management modules. As part of an overall growth strategy and unification effort, Black Hills Corp. selected PeopleSoft to support these objectives throughout the corporation. Black Hills Corp. is looking to SkyBridge to provide guidance on PeopleSoft’s implementation of best practices through the use of SkyBridge’s BridgeWay Methodology and SkyBridge’s ERP implementation project experience. Operating within one integrated system will greatly improve the visibility of key information and will allow Black Hills Corp. to better position itself for future growth.
