City of Albuquerque Awards SkyBridge PeopleSoft Implementation Project
Atlanta, GA-October 30, 2006–SkyBridge Global today announced it has been awarded the contract from the City of Albuquerque for the implementation of a suite of PeopleSoft applications including Human Capital Management, Financial Management & Reporting, Budgeting, and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). The City is undergoing a major overhaul of all of its current systems, and this project will address the replacement of nearly two dozen disparate and outdated applications. Having one integrated system will greatly improve the visibility to key information, and will allow Albuquerque to better manage and control funding of city projects and initiatives.
“Albuquerque is making great progress in their IT improvement initiatives. In the last few years, a new 311 initiative was introduced, and PeopleSoft CRM and CIS applications were implemented to support this major initiative,” said Roxann Shick, Director of Government Solutions. “Now the City is focusing on improving the Budgeting and Financial Control systems and processes. We will be implementing PeopleSoft HCM, Financials, and Enterprise Performance Management applications to support these initiatives.”
