One of our latest success stories comes from our last project with long-term client Sonoco Products Company (a consumer packaging company is based in Hartsville, South Carolina). Our SkyBridge consulting team worked with Sonoco to upgrade Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise version HCM 8.9 to version 9.1. The upgrade included the move from version 8.9 to 9.1, as well as the migration of the database from Informix to Oracle. Sonoco also upgraded their hardware in conjunction with this effort. The effort was guided by SkyBridge’s proprietary BridgeWay project methodology and feedback from internal Sonoco stakeholders. The upgraded application and hardware will provide ongoing efficiencies for Sonoco and resulted in 30% faster run times for payroll processing.
