SkyBridge Successfully Implements Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.0 at Black Hills Corporation
MARIETTA, Georgia (October 21, 2010, 2010) – SkyBridge Global partnered with Black Hills Corporation (NYSE: BKH), a diversified energy company based in Rapid City, S.D., with corporate offices in Denver, and Omaha, Neb.., to successfully implement Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Financials and HCM 9.0 throughout the Black Hills Corporation organization .

The primary goals of the project, which was initiated in 2008, focused on introducing an application designed to optimize the skills of BHC’s employees and to standardize disparate business processes and systems resulting from a recent company acquisition. BHC determined that PeopleSoft Enterprise 9.0 was the best product on the market to meet these goals while also gaining operational efficiencies and creating a platform for future growth.
Implemented using SkyBridge’s proprietary BridgeWay project methodology, BHC’s business process standardizations and operational efficiencies include a new single financials system of record, enhanced financial reporting capabilities, standardized human resources and payroll processes, and a reduction in the number of systems needing technical maintenance and support.
